Acceptable use policy
Last updated 2026-10-21
This policy applies to every business using our WhatsApp services. It follows the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy; where Meta’s rules are stricter, Meta’s rules apply.
You must
- Only message people who wrote to you first, or who gave you their number and agreed to receive messages from your business.
- Stop messaging anyone who asks you to stop, and tell us so the automation stops too.
- Keep the information the replies use accurate and up to date.
- Make it easy for customers to reach a person at your business.
You must not
- Send bulk or unsolicited messages, or messages to numbers bought, rented or collected from elsewhere.
- Sell or promote goods and services that WhatsApp’s Commerce Policy prohibits, including weapons, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, adult content, gambling and counterfeit goods.
- Deceive, impersonate another person or business, run scams, or make misleading claims about prices or availability.
- Harass, threaten or send hateful content.
- Ask customers through the automation for card numbers, passwords, verification codes or copies of identity documents.
- Try to get around Meta’s message limits, quality ratings or template review.
If these rules are broken
We may pause the automation or end the service, as set out in our terms of service. Meta may also act on the number directly.
Reporting a message
If you received an unwanted message from a number we serve, email btmk.fm@gmail.com with the number that wrote to you and the date. You can also block and report the number in WhatsApp.
